PDF Files

For those of you who prefer to read offline or simply want to have a copy of the story to save on their harddrive, here’s the solution!

“The Apprentice and the Necromancer” is now also available as pdf files, hosted at MediaFire.

(Btw a nice, ligth-weight, free pdf reader is FoxIt, which can be downloaded HERE.)

I hope you like the first edition of “Apprentice” the e-book collection! It was a lot of work to put them together, but I think they look reasonably nice.

Part 16 is actually part 15.

Couldn’t download part 18, a problem with mediafire or something.

Thank you for sharing! Found my way over from WIKTT.
I just finished reading. It’s been a while since a fic had me crying like this one did.
And now I can keep it on the hard drive all pretty 🙂
Thanks for all the hard work.

    Hi Juno,

I just found this site via your art post, which was recced at the Digest. I’m looking forward to reading this fic in its entirety. I certainly enjoyed it when it was a WIP. :-bd

Is there any reason why you have the PDF files in parts rather than in one file? Combined it’s under 7mb. Let me know if you’d like me to send it to you so you can post it here as an alternative.

Yes – there is a reason that they are in parts! You see, the whole story is actually series, like a penny dreadful. So each part is like one of those paperback collections of comics.

Also, I’m hoping that this way maybe I’ll get more than one measly comment (“Nice story. Kthxbai.”) for 250k words and one whole year of work from my readers. 😉

(I have several pdf creators at my disposal, so if I ever want to create an e-book with the story in its entirety, I could do it in a blink.)

    Hey,

I just spend the entire weekend reading and then rereading The Apprentice and the Necromancer.

I was so happy to discover these PDF files, I always save a copy of fics that I fall in love with just in case.

I hear you are working on a sequel, I don’t like to read WIP so I look forward to reading the finished product. 🙂

Hi–your piece was a favorite of Kayly Silverstorm on fanfiction.net so I am going to read the Apprentice and the Necromancer (she is a good author whose story I really enjoyed). However, is there any way you could put the story into a single PDF or document? It would be greatly appreciated.

If you could email the story as a single file I will bow down in worship.

    Take care,
    dianne
    *in awe*

      Sorry, but that’s not possible.

For several reasons. Most of all because it’s supposed to be a series of “virtual penny dreadfuls”. Offering one whopping big file as a download would destroy the effect I was going for.

Hello! I recently accidentally started to read fanfics at all & fell on WIP translation of this one at fanfics.ru & swallowed what was ready in one night))) then found a link to it in eng on fanfiction.net and from there to here at last to the full version. Here’s what I want to say – THANKS A LOT! As I liked a lot what I already read in translation I was really glad to find out how many chapters were still waiting for me to read & enjoy ( *crazy* !!! somehow like this I looked I suppose)))) That’s just an incredible amount of work you’ve done – I mean both the quantity & the quality of written. It’s so persuasively that sometimes I had to read through tears, sometimes it made me laugh – but always sympathizing – so real you made heroes. I deeply enjoyed reading, thanks again & loads of good luck 🙂 Marie

Sorry I’m replying late. Offline life has been keeping me busy. Thank you for taking the trouble to look for the original version of the story, and I’m thrilled that you enjoyed it! 🙂
