FFNet has provided me with a new toy: “Reader Traffic”.<\/p>\n
So now I don’t just get to see that I have 1,037,850 words archived there (with an average of 23,063 per entry, and that I’m on the favourites list of x people and the author alert list of y people, along with the number of hits per chapter and story and the number of comments per chapter and story), now I get an in-depth analysis based on unique hits from unique IP addresses over a 24 hour period.<\/p>\n
So here<\/a> are the stats, and this<\/a> is where my visitors come from.<\/p>\n I must admit that I am kind of tickled to see that five visitors (or one visitor on five days) from Iran (!) have (has) been reading “The Apprentice and the Necromancer”. Other exotic locations include South Africa and Guatemala. Here’s to a truly international audience! :-bd<\/p>\n I also seem to have almost 1,000 visitors at this blog per month<\/a> and guess what? “Apprentice” is one of the most visited items<\/a> on this site. I have to say that I never dreamt that so many people would actually look at my contribution to (inter-)national poetry month. Yay, poetry! w00t<\/p>\n Now it’s time for me to get ready for dinner. And later I plan to write another chapter of “Appetite”.
