\nyou’re not a parrot
\nyou’re not a slow loris
\nor a smart missile
\nyou’re human<\/p>\n

not british
\nnot american
\nnot israeli
\nnot palestinian
\nyou’re human<\/p>\n

not catholic
\nnot protestant
\nnot muslim
\nnot hindu
\nyou’re human<\/p>\n

we all start human
\nwe end up human
\nhuman first
\nhuman last
\nwe’re human
\nor we’re nothing<\/p>\n

nothing but bombs
\nand poison gas
\nnothing but guns
\nand torturers
\nnothing but slaves
\nof Greed and War
\nif we’re not human<\/p>\n

look at your body
\nwith its amazing systems
\nof nerve-wires and blood canals
\nthink about your mind
\nwhich can think about itself
\nand the whole universe<\/p>\n

look at your face
\nwhich can freeze into horror
\nor melt into love
